Very sorry for the error.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11600065.post-38244501084144183642018-12-11T07:59:21.440-05:002018-12-11T07:59:21.440-05:00Whoops, you're right. Christmas Carols by the St. Luke’s Choristers was first released as Capitol A-2 (78 rpm album) in 1944. In 1949 it was reissued on 10" 33 rpm LP as Capitol H-9000 (which Buster shared in 2012).

This album, Christmas Choristers, is new 1950 material. The release date is confirmed by 11/4/50 Billboard—listed under “New Christmas Albums” and described as “the second volume of Christmas hymns and carols by the St. Luke’s Choir.”

I hope I didn't misunderstand your post. If I did, please just delete my comment and accept my apologies.
Randynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11600065.post-30842392760180115702018-12-10T21:51:24.915-05:002018-12-10T21:51:24.915-05:00I think I have the 78 set, but I've never seen...I think I have the 78 set, but I've never seen the LP.
