Super Saturday Salvation 20

The Salvation Army is famous for their Christmas music, usually played by a brass band on a street corner, and the single bell ringer stationed out in front of the store with a red pot, but they've put out a lot of music over the years. In addition to the Army of Stars series that I just finished, I've got a few other records they made that I want to share with you before the day is out. This is the first record in that series, Christmas Greetings From The Territorial Center (Salvation Army, The Eastern Territory, U.S.A. TRLPS-43, Stereo, 1984). This record came out on the other side of the country from all those others, concentrating on the Eastern territory instead of the Western. I'm assuming that's NYC on the front cover, but I don't think all the musicians are necessarily from there. It's a neat mix of stuff and certainly different from what we've heard up until now.
