The Fifth Night

Another oldie for Chanukah tonight.  This one hails from back in 2010, which is now quite a while back, but recent enough that I scanned the labels on the vinyl.  It's taken a while to get the whole sharing process down, but I've gotten to a point where I'm pretty happy with it.  No, I don't do lossless yet, but you need to have some reason to track down the original record, right?  Of course you do.  For the fifth night, this is Temple B'Nai Abraham Of Essex County School Choir-Vivienne K. Bender, Director With Dr. Joachim Prinz-Children Sing On Hanukah (Tikva T-88, Mono).

  1. No disrespect to the holiday or the performers, who I'm sure were all very fine people, but that is one of the most hideous covers I've ever seen. The kids look like characters from John Carpenter's The Thing, just before the entity burst their heads open and crawled out of their skulls.

  2. Apparently "Unknown" above hasn't seen any really hideous record covers. This one doesn't come close to being described as hideous.

    Thanks again, Ernie for sharing.

  3. Yeah, it's not an attractive cover, but it's not the worst. It may not even be the worst I've posted this year... I've always thought this one was the worst.

  4. Possibly the worst, but even so I wouldn't call it hideous...
