Sew Good

A request that came in just as I was looking for something to share, this is a record I first shared with you in 2012, but I went in and re-encoded it just now so you get the highest bitrate for your buck.  If the lady on the cover looks familiar, that's because it's Donna Reed, I guess her show was sponsored by Singer at the time.  If you wanna give a listen to the music inside this festive cover, please download The Singer Orchestra Conducted By George Siravo Featuring Steve Clayton And The Don Janse Choral-Favorite Christmas Songs From Singer (The Singer Company HE-S1, Stereo, 1964).

1. Good King Wenceslas
2. O Holy Night
3. It Came Upon A Midnight Clear
4. O Come All Ye Faithful
5. Joy To The World/The First Noel
6. Silent Night
7. Jingle Bells
8. Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town
9. Little Drummer Boy
10. The Christmas Song
11. The Twelve Days Of Christmas
12. White Christmas

  1. Thanks - I always meant to pick this up because of the arranger (George Siravo), but haven't ever done so.

  2. And on the cover, big selling singers Paul Peterson and so-young Shelley Fabres.

  3. I've always really enjoyed your shares. Just curious, when I downloaded this one, it sounded like the channels were reversed compared to the 2008 download. Is is safe to assume the most recent share (2018) is correct?

  4. It's never safe to assume anything around here. I didn't re-record it for 2018, I just re-encoded the 2012 rip. There's a good chance I was a better archivist in 2012 than I was in 2008, but you never know. :)

  5. Well, it looks like I didn't share this out in 2008, perhaps you got it from somewhere else? It certainly made the rounds both before and after me...
