San Francisco!

From Sacramento, we head to San Francisco via Croatia.  I know it doesn't make much sense, but that's how these things go sometimes.  This LP is a nice collection of songs performed by groups from around the city, encompassing a wide variety of styles and sophistication, pretty much like San Fran itself.  Haven't been there in years, but I remember being suitably impressed the few times I visited.  This is Christmas In San Francisco, Recorded Live In The City (Sponsored By Embarcadero Center, David Riordan EC-101, Stereo, 1974).

Thank you so much for this album. I'd been looking for it for years. There's also an impossible-to-find Christmas in St. Louis LP from the mid-1970s I'd love to see one day.

It is a great painting, even better when you can open the whole gatefold and see the whole thing! But it's nothing compared to being just offshore from the real thing and looking back at it. It's an amazing city with so many great vistas! I haven't been in so long, I need to get back.
