Singapore!

From Mexico we head halfway around the world to Singapore for no good reason other than it's next on my list and really far away.  And it's a record that's not part of the Capitol Of The World series, it's actually made and sold in the country it documents. This one is also a lot newer than the other world-wide records I've been sharing, coming about 20 years later, but it still has a great deal of merit, and maybe some nice stereo sound.  If you're curious, this is The Church Of The Risen Christ Choir, Conducted By Peter Low-Christmas In Singapore (WEA (Warner/Elektra/Atlantic) (Singapore/Malaysia/Hongkong) Q 93217, Stereo, 1979).

1. Medley: O Come All Ye Faithful; The First Noel; Hark The Herald Angels Sing
2. Silent Night
3. Deck The Halls
4. Here We Come A Wassailing
5. Pablo The Reindeer
6. Little Babe In Manger Hay
7. Calypso Carol
8. Let Christ Be Born In You
9. O Holy Night
10. Doing The Christmas Thing
11. Good King Wenceslaus
12. Glory To The Lord In Heaven
13. Do You Hear What I Hear
14. Medley: Silver Bells; Winter Wonderland; White Christmas

  2. My wife has a vinyl copy of this--she actually sang with Peter Low's choir when she was young, although she's not on this record. And she still sings "Pablo The Reindeer" sometimes!
