Re-Minute

Here's another record I was able to re-encode for you at a higher bitrate this year.  At this point I'm not sure when I recorded the vinyl, but the WAV files were still here on my PC and I just made new MP3's at the full-on bitrate.  They are mono, though, so don't expect 320. I first shared this with you in 2009, and here it is again, Elliot Lawrence And His Orchestra-Christmas Just A Minute! (Sesac PA 221/222, Mono).

1. Jingle Bells
2. Jumpin' At The Toy Shop
3. Toyland
4. Dancing Snowflake
5. Santa's Mambo
6. Ring-Around-The-Snowman
7. Deck The Halls
8. Auld Lang Syne
9. The Bell Carol
10. Silent Night
11. Joy To The World
12. We Three Kings
13. O Little Town Of Bethlehem
14. Adeste Fideles
15. The First Noel
16. We Wish You A Merry Christmas

  1. A good one for a snowy December morn - snowy at least here in Ohio. Did you get any of the stuff or is it sunny as usual?

  2. Snowy? Not here! The temps did drop down into the 50s overnight, and maybe a little lower tonight, but it'll be back up before you know it. And not a cloud in the sky today. :) Wanna come back down?

  3. No, because the last time I was there I caught a virus that I still have. Of course, I caught it from my grandchildren, but it was in Florida!

  6. Those Sesac records are really interesting. I just stumbled across a stack at the thrift store. None were X-mas, but still surprisingly good background music.

  8. Thanks, Ernie, for another great share. I grew up in a radio station (Dad's business) in the 50s and 60s. Sesac was a familiar name but their recordings much less familiar. Doc
